Samples of Coursework

Below is a selection of coursework I completed during my time at Clemson University, organized by key skill areas: linguistic proficiency, literary and cultural competency, and business competency. These courses highlight the diverse knowledge and abilities I developed across language, culture, and business disciplines.

Linguistic Proficiency

Below is an analysis I wrote for my SPAN 4060, Spanish Narrative Fiction class, about the character Adela in the famous Spanish play, La casa de Bernarda Alba.

For this same class, I discussed the impact of empty threats on the mind in the short story by Emilia Pardo Bazán, "El revólver".

Literary Competency

This essay, written for my SPAN 3180 Spanish through culture class, explores the role of nostalgia in Spanish music and literature, examining this powerful tool through an analysis of the song "Yamaguchi" by Amaia and the popular series La chica invisible by Blue Jeans.

Cultural Competency

In this essay from my LANG 3030 Spanish Women Directors & Human Rights course completed in Spain, I examine the cultural impact of the film "Función de Noche" and explore how it reflects and questions societal norms, gender roles, and personal identity within the context of Spain after Francoism.

Business Competency

I wrote this policy analysis for my ECON 3190, Environmental Economics class.

For my MGT 3030, Global Business class, I wrote this essay about how globalization affects the U.S. industrial industry.
